Hi, I'm Anna.

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where good food, good company, and weekend plans were always part of the culture. I headed to Bucknell University in 2019 for my freshman year, excited for independence — and like a lot of college freshmen, I learned pretty quickly how easy it was to use alcohol as a way to cope with stress and pressure instead of actually dealing with it.

When COVID hit, everything slowed down — and honestly, so did I. With routines disrupted and school feeling uncertain, I used that time to turn inward and focus on my own health. I started paying attention to how I moved my body, how I ate, and how certain habits made me feel — mentally and physically.

When it came time to return to school for my sophomore year, I made the decision to take a gap semester and eventually transfer to Villanova University. During that hiatus, a few important things happened — including turning 21.

I also worked at a bakery during my gap semester!

I spent my 21st birthday at my little sister’s high school soccer game, which feels very on-brand looking back. After the game, I went to the bar with my mom and dad and ordered my first real adult beverage (wink wink): an espresso martini. And just like that, something clicked.

That drink wasn’t about getting drunk — it was about enjoying the moment. The setting. The conversation. The intention behind it.

During that gap semester and beyond, I realized I was passionate not only about social media, but also about learning how to drink — and live — in a way that actually felt good for me. For me, that looks like a couple of well-made cocktails a week, enjoyed at the bar or alongside a great meal. It’s about quality over quantity.

Cocktails became a way to meet new people, have deeper conversations with my friends and fiancé (we actually met through @mainlinemartini, but that's a story for another time...), and decompress after a long week — not an escape, but a ritual. A far cry from blacking out multiple nights a week on cheap beer and vodka.

Did I mention I also worked for an espresso martini company? s/o Tribini for introducing me to my fiancé!

Main Line Martini was born out of that shift — a celebration of mindful indulgence, great drinks, and the experiences that come with them. Stay tuned as I drink my way through the best that Charleston, SC has to offer.

Cheers to growing up, growing wiser, and never settling for a bad martini in 2026🫒🍸
